According to these standards, a natural variety of colour between sapwood and the middle wood is accepted. go naturalwood guarantees the quality of the grade sold, good manufacturing and the moisture content on delivery which is between 6-8%. go naturalwood floors are made from natural products, and therefore have a natural distinction from one piece to another. No two pieces are alike, for some these may seem to represent defects and for others these represent an individual characteristic. go naturalwood floors are manufactured in accordance with the industry standards. These standards tolerate a certain percentage of these individual characteristics depending on the different grades of wood, which may be the result of natural causes or the manufacturing process. Before installing any hardwood floor, the installer must ensure the job site and the sub floor meets or exceeds the standards as outlined in the go naturalwood installation instructions. In extreme cases, mildew or discolouration can occur caused by sub floor moisture. This is not a manufacturing defect and therefore not covered by this warranty. While go naturalwood quality product and warranty is extremely important, proper installation and maintenance of your new go naturalwood flooring is essential to ensure you years of enjoyment. That’s why all go naturalwood distributors agree to advise their customers of their limitations and to give the proper information on the characteristics of the products sold, the right storage, installation and maintenance techniques.

Flexibility

Liquids and spills
All liquids and spills should be wiped up immediately in order to prevent any possible damage. You may consider using area rugs to protect susceptible areas (around kitchen sinks or at entrances for wet footwear, for example).

Sunlight
Normal exposure to sunlight will cause slight colour changes in any product and go naturalwood products are no exception. Area rugs, which block out light, should therefore be shifted regularly.
